Meet Charlotte!

Charlotte Muller is a wellness professional based in New York.

After the unexpected loss of her Mother and the diagnosis of Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) at age 17, Charlotte transformed her life to align with everything wellness.

Through proper diet and an active lifestyle alone, Charlotte lowered her total cholesterol over 100 mg/dL. While Western medication is still needed to manage her condition, her lifestyle changes made positive, everlasting impacts on many areas of her life, inspiring the birth of Breathe Strength and her wellbeing framework: The Four Pillars of Sustainable Wellness.

Charlotte left her corporate Human Resources job to follow her heart and open her first yoga studio in 2019. When the pandemic closed the NYC studio’s doors for good after only 5 months, she quickly pivoted to an online studio platform. Two years later, she was ready to try again. This time, alongside her high school sweetheart.

Charlotte and her husband, Russell Bostock, opened a facility that combines their areas of expertise: yoga + barbell strength training. Pulse Barbell Club is located in their hometown at 351 Larkfield Road, East Northport, NY, and offers the unique mix of strength and softness, effort and surrender, yin and yang. Their community is strong in every sense of the word.

Charlotte graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Joseph’s College with a degree in Psychology. She taught undergraduate Hatha Yoga: Theory + Practice as an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University. Charlotte is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), Fitness Instructor, and CPR instructor, with speciality certifications in Personal Training, Trauma-Informed Yoga and Blissflow Yoga.

She is a FH Advocate, raising awareness about Familial Hypercholesterolemia and helping people get the diagnosis they need to live a long, healthy life. She is the host of the Conquering Cholesterol Podcast and works closely with the Family Heart Foundation to spread awareness of inherited lipid disorders.

Charlotte also cohosts the Stronger Together Podcast, where she and her BFF, Leslie Van Bell, chat about what it means to live a healthy life, diving into topics that affect wellbeing. She is a lululemon Ambassador and content creator who loves to inspire her community!

Charlotte believes that sustainable wellness is built on four pillars:

3. A deep-rooted, focused purpose.

4. A solid, supportive, reliable social circle.

When these four pillars are sturdy, they can hold anything that life puts on top of them. The goal of Breathe Strength is to help you strengthen each of your four pillars. Each class is designed to quiet the mind, strengthen the body, inspire the soul, and support each member through social connection.
